When Bonnie came along, I thought a piece of fake grass would sort out where she went to the toilet. It didn't. It smelled, and it needed scrubbing every day.
So I looked at the grass subscription services. Thousands of dollars a year, for grass that shows up half-dead and gets swapped every week or two. The other products were overpriced and overcomplicated. None of it sat right.
Then I worked out the garden center down the road sold real sod for about the price of a coffee. All I needed was something to put it in. Nothing on the market did the job, so I built one for Bonnie out of timber, on the balcony of my one-bedroom apartment.
It worked immediately. Cheap, and better than anything we'd tried. I started building them for locals as a hobby.
Six years on, that hobby is a factory, warehouses, and a team of people we employ directly. 30,000+ potties. In 2025 we were named a national finalist at the Australian Business Champions Awards for quality, innovation and customer care.
We started in Melbourne and we're on the ground in the US now too - your order ships from a US warehouse, not from overseas. We still answer our own emails, promptly. You still deal directly with us, and always will.
